Our philanthropy extends deep into each of our communities and the impact is created by OUR PEOPLE, both within First Texas Bank and the people of our communities coming together to make a powerful impact.

We are privileged to partner with wonderful organizations, helping to make a positive impact and providing yet another way for our employees to make a difference in the communities where we live and work. Our employees spend time volunteering in whatever capacity an organization of choice may need.  This can include being a board member and helping with fundraising events, to actual hands-on labor.

First Texas Bank understands the importance of making a positive influence in our community.

This year’s annual Shred It event was a big success, bringing in people all throughout the community and giving them a safe way to dispose of their confidential information.

First Texas Bank employees attended LAFTA’s annual Boots and Blazers event. Funds collected from this event secures art for the future but more importantly allows LAFTA to support local youth by giving out annual scholarships.

First Texas Bank volunteered in the annual Squared Silly event! This event brings Halloween fun to our Square for all ages!

First Texas Bank is grateful to have the opportunity to be a sponsor for the annual Boots and Blazers event hosted by LAFTA.

The city of Lampasas has declared the first week in October to be Love Thy Neighbor week. This week is dedicated to loving our neighbors in our small town through many different events, one being the first Love Thy Neighbor Festival.

Donations and Sponsorship requests are accepted at various times throughout the year.  We try to support as many organizations as possible that fit within our company’s philanthropic mission. To be considered for a donation or sponsorship opportunity, please bring your request to your First Texas Bank location or email atrotter@firsttexasbank.com and your request will be submitted to the appropriate manager for consideration. Due to the high volume of requests, we do ask for at least four weeks notice to be reviewed and processed.
